Inez Hendrickson

March 8, 1931 — March 7, 2022

Mrs. Inez Hendrickson was born in Painesdale, Michigan and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She married her sweetheart George Hendrickson. They knew each other since childhood and shared an incredible life together. Their life, mostly spent in Gwinn, Michigan, included a family with three boys, all built on love, respect and kindness.

Inez was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and loved to cook. She made the best pasties you could imagine and enjoyed sewing, crafting and tending to her flower beds. As a homemaker, her family, friends, neighbors all took a liking to Inez as she had such an uplifting spirit and welcoming smile. She and George loved travelling and living the snow bird life alternating between Michigan and Texas, and instilled a sense of belonging to everyone they met along the way.

Inez is preceded in death by mother and father Maria Lepsu and William Niemela, sisters Elvie Rinkinen, Edith Koski, Julie Menzel, and Jan Vedder; husband George Hendrickson; and son Jay Hendrickson.

Survivors include sister: Kay Wittanen; sons: Terry (Donna) Hendrickson and Curtis (Jennifer) Hendrickson; granddaughters: Aina (Dan) Vandermeuse, Arianna (Matthew) Loewenhagen, Christa Hendrickson, Kathryn (Enrique) Moliner-Wetzel, Sofie Hendrickson, and Ciera Hendrickson; great grandchildren: Everette and Ephraim Vandermeuse, Haeslee and Timothy Lowenhagen, and Jocelyn Moliner-Wetzel.

A special gathering will take place and be announced at a later date.
