Ira Lamar Bowman

Ira Lamar Bowman, age 78, passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, on July 19, 2015. He was the son of the late Ira and Lenora Bowman of Stone Mountain. He is survived by Janet, his loving wife of 58 years, two daughters; Lynda Channing and Joyce Bowman, three grandchildren; Jared and Ashley Channing, and Caleb Coggins. Brother; Sylvester Bowman and his wife Beverly, Sister; Sandra Mobley and her husband Lee; three nieces and one nephew. He dearly loved his family and friends. His warm sense of humor could always make you smile, his loving, strong compassion for others will be greatly missed.
