James Ray ?Buddy? Fouts, age 79, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, died August 18, 2011. James was born July 2, 1932 in Acworth to Thurston R. Fouts and Huddie Mae Dean. In 1949, after graduating from Spaulding High School, he enlisted in the army, serving in Germany and as SFC on the front lines of the Korean Conflict.  Employment: FMC Link Belt 29 yrs; Georgia Duck 10 yrs. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. 
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Anna McClung Fouts; children: Bonnie Annis Philip, Valerie NaLampoon Tinakorn, James W. Fouts Susie, and Joy Fouts; grandchildren: David LaCroix, Jr. Lauren; Brianne NaLampoon; Corey NaLampoon Cristy; Erin Garrison Caleb; Laura Shannon; Jamie Shannon; Hilary NaLampoon; Catherine Fouts; and Tristan Fouts; 6 beloved great grandchildren; brothers: Donald and Jerry Fouts; sister-in-law: Annette Fouts,  many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Wilma and Fay Nell; brother, Billy Fouts; and sister-in-law, Geneva Fouts. 
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Dr. Dan Parker officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude?s Children?s Hospital. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 4:00 ? 7:00 pm. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770 469-9811
