James "Larry" Gilbert

James "Larry" Gilbert, Age 73, of Monroe GA, passed away on June 6, 2026. A beloved Husband and Father Larry is preceded in death by his loving wife Toni and survived by his Daughter, Cassanda "Cassie" Lee, Son in Law, Robert Lee Jr, Grandson, Caden Lee and long time Companion Gwendolyn Hudgins. As well as His sisters, Cathy Witcher and Diane Hardigree and a large extended family.

An Avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed spending every free moment hunting, farming or preparing for the next "season." He was particularly proud of his orchards and green house of fresh fruits and vegetables. Much of his crops he used to make his own wine which started doing later in life, he was particularly good at it, and quickly became a wine enthusiast.
