James L. King Jr.

KING, James Ledford King, Jr. age 83 of Monticello, GA passed away on May 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Walton King, his daughter, Sandra King Jones and brother, Larry King. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Susie & Ted Ravenel of Monticello, GA; son-in-law Dan Jones of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Jessica & Keith Shockey of Fayetteville, GA; Cameron & Jessica Jones of Statesboro, GA; Ashley & Paul Nordstrom of Monticello, GA; Adam & Jessica Ravenel of Jesup, GA; great grandchildren, Olivia & Aiden Shockey, Arabella & Adelene Jones, and Wyatt Nordstrom. Sister, Ellen Stewart of Lithonia, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Billy & Jo King of Covington, GA; sister-in-law Sue King of Monticello, GA and numerous nieces & nephews. He served his country as a 20 year Veteran in the US Navy and Air Force. He retired after many years of service as an Electrician at Fernbank Science Center. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
