James Wilburn Redmon

James Wilburn Redmon of Harlan, Kentucky, son of Novilla Alred Redmon and Andrew Redmon, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, 76, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019.

James, (aka Jim or Poppie), who resided in Lilburn, Georgia, was a Veteran of the Vietnam conflict and military retiree as well as a Lockheed Martin retiree. He was a beloved husband of Anita Elizabeth Redmon of Doraville, Ga., who passed away in 2005.

He is survived by daughters: MeLinda Elizabeth Duncan, Mona Gail Reese; Son-In-Law: John Winfield Duncan III; grandchildren: Amanda Elizabeth Duncan, Blake Robert Pockrandt, John Winfield Duncan IV, James-Michael Duncan, MeLinda Margaret Duncan, Anna Reese Giroux; great grandchildren: Eleanor Anita Gomez, Brooks Robert Pockrandt, Liam James Roy Gomez, niece: Shannon Johnson, nephew: Steve Johnson and grandnieces: Brittany Stone, Ashley Johnson, Brooke Hutto. Memorial services for James Wilburn Redmon will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, Ga., 30046 at 2:00pm.
