James Edward Spain Jr. of Covington, GA born November 21, 1925 passed away September 18, 2017. Mr. Spain is survived by his son, Donald Ray Spain and stepson Dylan Thomas Byrd both of Covington. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters-in-law, and nieces, nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, Stone Mountain Chapel, with Pastor Everett Leavell and Virgil Cantrell officiating, with interment at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain.
