Jane Cranford

Jane Cranford, 87 years old, passed away on March 19, 2024 in Johns Creek, Georgia. Born on February 8, 1937 in Salisbury, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Cecil and Pansy Clark.

On December 29, 1957, she married her beloved husband and lifelong partner, John Henry Cranford, in Salisbury, NC. Their enduring love sustained them through life’s challenges, culminating in a remarkable 65th-anniversary celebration in 2022. Together, they raised two sons, Curt and Joel, and were blessed with four grandchildren: Michael, Lauren, Jennifer, and Elizabeth. Jane dedicated over 20 years of her life as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Medicine at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Decatur, Georgia.

Jane was a devoted mother who cherished her family deeply. She delighted in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandkids. Over their 65 years of marriage, Jane and her late husband explored the world together, from the enchanting landscapes of Europe to the rugged beauty of Alaska, the vastness of Canada, and the serene Blue Ridge Mountains.

Funeral services to honor Jane’s memory will take place at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, located at 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Georgia, on March 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
