Janice Wilder Gwin

Janice Wilder Gwin, age 71 of Lawrenceville, passed away on May 26, 2018. Janice was born in Bessemer Alabama and moved to Georgia with her husband in 1965. Janice is preceded in death by her mother, Dorethy, brother, Ron and sister, Lynn. Survived by husband Bob Gwin, Sons Paul Gwin and Stuart Middlebrooks, grand children Skylar, Taylor and Lauren Gwin She spent her life helping special needs kids. As a young woman she helped kids with life threating issues and she spent 20 years as a teacher at Special Need Schools of Gwinnett(SNS). At SNS she launched the first adult program and first art program. Janice also helped launch the first all girls soccer team in Gwinnett county and coached the first team. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA with Pastor Mark Elken officiating. The family will receive friend from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-277-4550.
