Jean Davis, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 83 in Lawrenceville, GA. Born on July 14, 1941, in Lawrenceville, GA, Jean lived a life defined by faith, kindness, and devotion to her family and community.

Jean was a dedicated member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dacula, GA. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life and guided her compassionate and empathetic spirit. She was known for her selflessness, simplicity, and unwavering love for others.

Jean worked as a dietitian for over 40 years and found her true calling as a job coach for mentally challenged adults at the Hi-Hope Training Center, where she devoted 32 years of service. Her work impacted countless lives and reflected her boundless patience and compassion.

Jean had a passion for gardening and embroidery, and she delighted in sharing her harvest with neighbors, often delivering fresh vegetables and flowers simply to brighten their day. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, making them feel unconditionally loved, supported, and like they were the most important people in her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Early and Bonnie Mauldin, six brothers and sisters, and her son-in-law, Peter Trinklein.

Jean is survived by her devoted husband, Tommy Davis; her daughters, Vickie Smith and Valerie Trinklein; her beloved grandchildren, Will Smith, Maddox Trinklein, and Molly Trinklein; her stepdaughters, Debbie England (Rodney), Wanda Weegar (Michael), and DeDe Davis; her step-grandsons, Brody Snyder (Michelle) and Riley Snyder (Christina); her sister, Betty Hodge; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.

Jean Davis will be remembered as a godly woman with a giving heart, a thoughtful nature, and a deep love for her family. She brought joy, love, and warmth to everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those around her.
