Each of their children were born in different locations. In 1968 Orlando retired from the military and they settled permanently in Georgia.
Over the years, her greatest pleasures were cheering on her children & grandchildren at their sporting and other events. Jeanette’s love of sewing was evident in all the gifted quilts, carry bags, and other pieces she lovingly made for family and friends. She also had a passion for gardening and found homes in her gardens for many varieties of plants and vegetables. She was known to can much of her produce. Another one of Jeanette’s passions was bowling and she was famous for her 7-10 split and numerous 300-point games over the years.
