Jennifer Duffey

Jennifer Duffey age 38 passed away December 31, 2014. Jennifer is survived by her husband Phillip Duffey and her daughters Alexis and Payton, her mother, Debbie Swann Stevens and father, Michael Skelton. She is also, survived by her sister Jessica Skelton, brother Jeff Skelton and nieces and nephew, Breanna and Ansley Skelton, and Clayton Minge. Jennifer was a long time faithful member of the Rockdale Church of Christ. Over the years, cancer took its toll on her body, but not her spirit or her faith. Through all the pain and heartache brought on by the disease, she continued to love her family and trust in God. Heroes are not just found on the battlefield, but in the home taking care of their families while they fight the disease that slowly destroys their bodies and their strength. These heroes show us how to endure the unendurable. Proverbs 31:10-31 could easily have been written about Jennifer. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, that donations for Jennifer's medical bills be sent to Wages & Sons Funeral Home at: 1040 Main St., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. The viewing will be held Friday evening January 2, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon January 3, 2015 at 2:00 and the burial will follow in Eternal Hills Cemetery, 3790 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039.
