Jennifer Nicole Whitehouse, 31, passed away on August 8, 2012, after a long struggle with physical pain and depression.
Born September 1st, 1980, in Decatur, Georgia, to David and Betty Whitehouse, she graduated Phoenix High School and received a degree in Commercial Photography from Gwinnett Technical College.
Jennifer was an artist who not only captured the beauty of the world she saw around her, but whose inner beauty was respectively reflected in her greatest works, the greatest of which continue to enrich and sustain the lives of all who knew her. Her greatest masterpiece was her son, Gideon, who undoubtedly carries on her legacy of both capturing and reflecting her beauty, enriching our lives in the most difficult of times. Jennifer is deeply missed, but her memory and presence survive through her son as he grows and shares her love with those around him. As Jennifer departs this world for the next, she not only brings into it new life, but through the selfless donation of her own physical body, was able to save the precious lives of four others, bringing comfort and joy to their own loved ones.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Allen Smith; son, Gideon Smith; parents, Betty and David Whitehouse; grandfather, William Whitehouse; grandmother, Beatrice Whitten; and her brother, Nathan Whitehouse, along with his wife Suzanne and their children Sydney and Lucas. In addition, numerous other family and friends also survive her memory and spirit.
