OBITUARY
Jessica Renee Brown, 31, of Winder, Georgia passed away Saturday May 5th, 2012 at Gwinnett Medical Center Lawrenceville due to complications surrounding her illnesses. She was born June 5th, 1980 in Snellville, Georgia to David and Renee Bentley. Jessica grew up mostly in the Monroe area with her parents and sister Rachel. She graduated with honors from Monroe Area Comprehensive High School, where she excelled in Softball and Soccer. Jessica earned a scholarship to Wesleyan College in Macon, and went on to graduate Georgia State University with a bachelor degree in Respiratory Care. She started work at Gwinnett Medical Center of that same year as a Respiratory Therapist. Jessica went on to marry Kristopher Brown on May 14th, 2003 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and decided to settle down in Winder, GA where she currently lived with her husband, Kristopher and her son, Coleman. Jessica's favorite activities were anything that involved her family, especially camping and hiking in the mountains. One of her favorite places to go was Cape San Blas, Florida, where she enjoyed snorkeling for scallops and taking in the sun. Jessica was passionate about her work as a Respiratory Therapist. She devoted herself to the care of others throughout most of her life. As passionate as she was about her work, she was more passionate about her home. She took care of her home and made sure that her family had a clean, warm, loving place to live. She worked hard at everything she set her mind to and achieved anything she wanted. Jessica was smart, funny, loving, and the most caring mother a boy could ever want.
Jessica is survived by her husband Kristopher Brown, and their son Coleman both of Winder, GA. Her parents David and Renee Bentley of Monroe, GA. Her grandmother Ruth Ferguson of Monroe, GA. Her sister Rachel Bentley, brother in-law Darren Posey, nephew Preston, and nieces Bailey and Pailyn all of Winder, GA.
