Jo Anne I. Crissman

CRISSMAN, Jo Anne. Jo Anne I. Crissman of Tucker GA passed away July 30, 2018. Jo Anne was born in Kernersville, NC on March 20, 1933. Jo Anne was a well loved member of the Tucker community, having lived here 58 years. A wonderful Mother to her four daughters, she was a talented seamtress, sang with the Sweet Adelines during the 1970s and played bridge at least four days a week. Her sense of humor and love of life were evident until the end. She attended nursing school in Winston Salem, NC, which she left to begin raising her family in 1953. She is survived by daughters Linda Crissman, Debbie Elstad (Doug) and Laura Klingensmith, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David, and her daughter Ellen. The family had a private celebration of Jo Anne's life at her home. Memorials may be made to The American Macular Degeneration Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
