Joan Foran Barth

Our dear and beloved wife, mother, and Nana, Joan Foran Barth (Joanie), sadly passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 81. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when she was needed, and she will be missed. Her strong faith and love of Jesus was reflected in her life and in how well she loved others. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Stone Mountain, GA where she resided for 50 years. Joanie wore many hats throughout the years, including running an in-home daycare, managing a dental office, and caring for families as a nanny. She was predeceased by her father, James B. Foran, mother, Ann Garbowski Foran, and brothers, John Foran and James T. Foran. She is survived by husband, Ronald R. Barth of Stone Mountain, GA, daughter, Debbie A. Barth and Teresa Mann of Conyers, GA, son, Richard J. and Anita Barth of Dawsonville, GA, son, Dr. Ronnie J. and Margaret Barth of Myrtle Beach, SC, and grandchildren, Brittney A. Barth, Brandon R. Barth and Ruby M. Barth. Funeral services will be held on March 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Wages and Sons funeral home in Stone Mountain GA.
