John Satish Gangasarran

John Satish Gangasarran was born in New York City, and was the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in Orange and West Orange, New Jersey, where he spent most of his free time playing basketball, reading comics, watching sports, riding his bike, and enjoying video games.

John was very passionate about sports, and was never afraid to talk about his favorites — Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls, Notre Dame, and his beloved San Francisco 49ers. He was very optimistic about his 49ers. John also loved listening to Bollywood music, especially the songs from the film Bobby.

John relocated to Georgia with his mom in 2017. He is survived by his mother Bina; siblings Bobby, Asha, Ravi; and nieces Ashley, Gabrielle, Sophie.
