John Bradley "Brad" McMillan

June 11, 1971 — December 7, 2025

John Bradley “Brad” McMillan, 54, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on December 7, 2025. Born June 11, 1971, Brad brought joy, laughter, and light everywhere he went. To know Brad was to have a friend—he truly never met a stranger.

Brad is survived by his father, Kenneth McMillan; sister, Amy Thompson, and brother‑in‑law, Kevin Thompson; three cherished nieces, Kensley, Aubrey, and Caroline. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ross McMillan, whom he has missed every day since she left and who we know will be waiting with open arms.

Brad worked as an electrician and loved helping friends with home projects. A proud Black Knight and the Class of 1990 Homecoming King, Brad carried his school spirit throughout life! His friends remembered him as the heart of every gathering—funny, kind, and loyal. He remained close to most of his high school classmates and treasured the bonds they shared and quickly became “Uncle Brad” to their children.

Brad was also a cherished part of the Hooters community, where he made lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories. A true Georgia Bulldogs fan, he cheered his Dawgs with pride but also gave a War Eagle when one of his favorites joined their team!

Brad’s warmth, humor, and generosity made this world brighter. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit and love will live on in the countless lives he touched.

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” — Proverbs 17:17
