Joseph Heath Bloodsworth, 58, passed away on September 20, 2025. Born at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida, on September 4, 1967, Heath was the beloved son of Ruby Cooper and his stepfather, Burchall Cooper.
Heath proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his service, he earned an Associate Degree in Accounting and built a diverse career. He worked in accounting for PayMaster, served as a warehouse manager at Ecco Spear, and later brought his strong work ethic to Delta Airlines.
A natural entertainer with a generous spirit, Heath had many passions. He loved music and played in a band, sharing his talent and joy with anyone within earshot. He trained in kickboxing and karate, and wherever he went, he made it his mission to lift people up—he truly loved to entertain everyone.
Heath is survived by his partner, Lisa Laib; his nephew Chase Cunningham and niece Celeste Cunningham; his uncle Tony Diaz; his nephew Zavier Wyche; and Ayden Sigler. He was preceded in death by other loved ones who now welcome him home.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville. A Celebration of Life will follow the service.
Heath will be remembered for his devotion to family, his service to country, and the music, laughter, and kindness he shared so freely. His memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
