Joseph Lewis Hopper, Jr. Mr.

Joseph Lewis Hopper Jr, age 83, of Westminster and Seneca, SC, formerly of Atlanta, passed away January 19th 2015. Mr. Hopper was born in Blue Ridge, GA August 12th 1931. He graduated from O’Keefe High School and the Southern College of Pharmacy in Atlanta. He retired as a Pharmacist and Real Estate Broker in Westminster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. Hopper Sr. and Ora Hall Hopper. Survivors include: his ex-wife, Judy Letsinger of Westminster; daughter, Dana L. Hopper; brother, Thomas Wesley Hopper and his wife, Carolyn, of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Ellen H. Larson of Jacksonville; great nephew, Corp. Robert Larson, U.S. Marines; great niece, PFC Bethany Larson, U.S. Army; Anasia Curry of Jacksonville; cousins and many close friends who will miss him dearly. Mr. Hopper enjoyed boating on lakes in the mountains and staying at the seashore. He was an avid Georgia Tech football fan. After cremation by Wages and Sons Funeral Home, his ashes will be scattered at his beloved Saint Simons Island, GA at a later date.
