Joy Lenti Erwin

Joy Lenti Erwin, age 81, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026, surrounded by friends and family. Joy was born to John and Mary Lenti on October 10, 1945, in Johnson City, Tennessee. Joy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul Emory Erwin; Step-Son Paul Hause of Cumming, Ga; Step-Son Chris Erwin of Buford, Ga; and Step-Daughter Susan Nelson of Acworth, Ga.; Step-Grandchildren Charles Nelson, Rebecca Loch, Matthew Nelson and Jonathan Nelson; Step-Great Grandchildren Brody Loch and Molly Nelson.

She was a woman of faith, strength, and compassion. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to caring for others, whether as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, or loyal friend. She was the queen of a local Red Hat Society. She found happiness in life with her love of crocheting, cooking, and caring for her dogs.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Friends American Grill located at 752 Dacula Road, Dacula, Ga.
