Joyce Britt

Joyce Britt, age 90, of Atlanta, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born in Atlanta and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Beth Britt; a brother, Wayne Brewster; a sister, Karen Floyd and her husband, Ralph; grandchildren, Ava and Seth Stuck, Chelsea Britt, Joy Britt, Jason and Jennifer Anthony, Tracy Mask, Jessica Dascomb, Rachel Thelen, and Jake Thelen; 7 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; a special niece, Lorraine Almand and her husband, Phillip; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Britt, and two children, Ted and Brenda Britt. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, April 28, 2017, at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Bob Halstead officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Thursday, April 27th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Joyce.
