Obituary for Julia Ann Martin Wong Julia Ann Martin Wong, 91, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 23. She is survived by: her son Robert Wong of Kennesaw, GA and her daughter Bonnie Wong Morgan (Nick) and granddaughter Andrea Morgan of Goose Creek, SC; sisters Celeste Long (Johnny) of Conyers, GA and Susan Howell (Jess) of CA; and, numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents Claude and Sue Martin and sisters Jane Carter and Patti Martin, and husband C. A. “Cats” Wong. Julie loved all her family dearly and took great joy in the times that she shared with them. She also loved her church family associations through the years, particularly at First Baptist Atlanta, Scott Boulevard Baptist (Decatur), and Rehobeth Baptist (Tucker). Over the years she enjoyed being part of the youth and music ministries and enjoyed the many friendships that were made in these church families. Her family wishes to express their deep appreciation to all who enriched Julie’s life with love, friendship, and kindnesses through her long life. Also, great appreciation is expressed to the staff of Meadowbrook Health & Rehab facility in Tucker where Julie was a resident in recent years and received such good care. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honor Julie’s memory, the family suggests making a memorial gift to the church or Christian ministry of your choice.
