Our Loving Mother Kathy Robinson passed away peacefully at home surrounded family on March 9, 2019. Born August 22, 1943 in Upper Darby Pennsylvania to parents, Henry and Charlotte (Meade) Powell. The youngest of four siblings, brothers Dick and Samual Powell and sister Betty Ann Schwenk, children Tina Cole and Marty Schwenk. Kathy graduated from Media High School where she was active as an instructor for the Color Guard and Captain of the Media Fawns Drum and Bugle Corp. Kathy was married in 1964 and is survived by daughters, Wendy Ann Bulger, Sandra Dee Robinson and son, Matthew Lloyd Robinson. Loving grandmother to Wendy’s children, Erica (Chad) Howick, Brooke (Jeremy) Moon and Jaden Bulger. Proud greatgrandmother to Erica’s children Sawyer and Victoria and Brooke’s daughter, Georgia. She was blessed with extended family in Aurora, Ohio, Allee Day and surving husband, Myron Day, children, Jeff (Mary) Day and Laurel (Leo) LaPorte. Kathy spent seventeen wonderful years working in Delaware for Three Little Bakers Dinner Theater as an accomplished pastry chef. She loved baking breads, cookies and cakes to appease her sweet tooth. Mom was an avid bowler, playing in leagues trying to achieve a perfect 300. She loved watching classic movies like Indiana Jones and westerns at home and in theaters. She appreciated the beauty of horses (Dandy Boy), dogs (Lady) and cats. Those of you who knew our Mom know she was strong willed and did everything on her own terms. We will truly miss you Mom. She would never want us to worry and always told us, “I’m doing the best that I can.” Those are the words we live by. A funeral service will be held on April 7, 2019 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Services will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Services in Wilmington, Delaware to be announced.
