Keith Douglas Wong

Keith Douglas Wong passed from this life on Saturday, September 28. He was born on August 7, 1947 to Mary and the late Henry Wong in Philadelphia, PA. Keith grew up in multiple countries as his father's US Air Force assignments took him to locations including Okinawa, Japan and Manila, Philippines. He graduated from Palmyra High School in Palmyra, NJ, before joining the Air Force reserves, where he served his country for 4 years. Keith had a career in sales, selling shoes, then cars, then advertising. He worked at Bell South for 20 years before retiring as a customer services representative in 2005. Keith married Laurie Ann Patterson in 1971, and they lived together in New Jersey and then rural Pennsylvania before relocating to the suburbs of Atlanta, GA in 1986. He is survived by 5 children: Cain, Jennifer, Holly, Jose, and Antonio; and by 5 grandchildren: Tai, Kaelon, Lennon, Hendrix, and Lumen. Keith was a passionate, out-going, fun-loving man, and often the life of a party. He enjoyed good company, good drink, good music, and good sports. His favorites included camping, fishing, golf, Neil Young, the Philadelphia Eagles, but most of all, he loved his family. At his request, Keith is being cremated without a ceremony. A party in his honor will be held in Philadelphia the weekend of November 16. Contact his immediate family for more details.
