Kenneth Eugene Brown was born to Nellie E. Brown and Kenneth P. Brown on November 23, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas and now lives with his oldest son Glenn R. Brown in Lilburn, Georgia. He graduated from Wichita State University with an associate degree. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years at the Quanico, Marine/Air Force Base in Virginia. He retired from a life time of managing retail stores for TG&Y plus managed other retail locations names in or about 2010.
Kenneth was married his wife Delores for 66 years on August 25, 1957. They had three children Glenn R. Brown, David M. Brown, and Wanda Fisher who Delores likes to joke that all their kids are now older than 60 years of age.
Kenneth was introduced to Delores his wife on a blind date about two years before they were married August of 1957.
Kenneth loved his projects around the house, the yard planting flowers and other plants, and he knew was grill master that could cook an entire meal on the grill including dessert. The other thing Kenneth liked to do was to take vacations generally to enjoy the Florida sunshine and heat (he didn’t like to be cold), North Virginia area to see Delores’s family and enjoyed the site seeing the historic locations there and D.C.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Delores; sons, Glenn Brown and David Brown; daughter, Wanda Fisher; Granddaughters, Lea Anderson, Naomi Brown, and Great Grandchildren, Emma Brown, Madison Anderson, Jack Brown, David (Davy) Brown, August (Gus) Gastler, and Easton Gastler.
The viewing will be held at Wages & Son 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046 on Monday, November 13, 2023 between the hours of 3:30 PM-5:00 PM.
Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 – Crypt Side at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, Georgia.
