Khairati Lal Sachdeva

It is with great sadness we share the news that our father, K.L. Sachdeva, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of September 7, 2020. He leaves behind our mother, Tara Sachdeva; sons Vinod, Sunil and Arvind, his daughters-in-law Neelam, Renu and Cindy; as well as several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Pramod Sachdeva.

A longtime resident of Atlanta, our father was involved in establishing the Hindu Society of Atlanta, the early beginnings of the Hindu Temple in Smyrna and a motivator for the Indo-American society. The Sachdeva family has lost its beloved patriarch.

Due to the pandemic conditions, there will be some departures from the usual funeral protocol. A limited number of immediate family members will be permitted to be present in person at the funeral services. Arrangements will be made to livestream portions of the service. A link will be embedded on the website for Wages and Sons for live streaming and have also included the service information below, for your convenience.
