Kyshmah Shakir Alberti was born on April 18,1975 to her loving parents Zandria Shakir and Adib Shakir. Kyshmah was called home on May 30, 2026. Kyshmah also known as (Keisha) and (Kay) was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout a period of her life, she lived in Michigan and later returned to Atlanta and continued her education at Westlake High School in 1993. Kyshmah had a strong passion to serve others, which led her to begin her career at AirTran Airways in 1999. In 2013, she continued her calling and adventured off into starting her own businesses known as Fit Financial Loans LLC and Tomato Pot LLC. Kyshmah always expressed to family and friends how she always wanted her own business in honor of her father Adib Shakir Sr. Kyshmah's kindness and willingness to help and serve others left a huge impact on her family, friends, and the community. Kyshmah was immersed in a Christian community and accepted Christ at an early age. Kyshmah re-devoted her life to Christ in (2022). Kyshmah not only continued her calling by serving others. Kyshmah also participated in multiple charity events, back to school giveaway events with police departments, Career Day Events at Atlanta Public Schools, feeding the homeless and hungry in her community, and working with local church groups to help make her community a better place.
Kyshmah was preceded in death by her father Adib Shakir Sr, Grandfather John Bland Sr., Herbert Harris, her Grandmother Nannie Bland Murphy, and Delilah Peurie .
Kyshmah leaves to cherish her memory with her loving Husband, Seth Alberti; mother, Zandria Shakir; her Son Christopher Shakir, her Daughters Amber Corbett, Mya Cole, and her Daughter and Son-in-law Takeisha Pollard and Chad Pollard; her Brothers; Adib Shakir, Tauheed Shakir, Son-in-law Craig Hallock; her Sisters; Virginia Shakir, Angela Shakir, Karin Shakir, Kamillah Kelly, Khadijah Shakir, and Sister-in-laws' Jennifer Alberti and Kelsey Best; Mother-in-law; Doreen Hallock, and her Father-in-law; Vincent Alberti. Kyshmah is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins who will continue to honor her memory.
Kyshmah will be remembered for her Strength, fierce fight, unbreakable spirit, and Eternal Love. Although she is no longer with us, her strength continues to inspire us all. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her Grandchildren. Kyshmah will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, June 8th 2026, from 12:00pm-2:00pm, as well as Chapel service at 2:00pm, at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
