Lady Mary Griffin Mcconnell

Lady Mary Griffin McConnell, age 92, died peacefully on August 17, 2015. A lifetime resident of Stone Mountain, she was a devoted member of Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Evans McConnell. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Karen McConnell, Mason and Sandra McConnell, Grandchildren, David and Emily McConnell, Matthew and Rachel McConnell, Robert McConnell, and Stephen and Whitney McConnell, Great Grandchildren, Griffin McConnell and Grayson McConnell. Family will receive friends at Wages and Sons, Stone Mountain, on Tuesday, August 18, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Stone Mountain City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church.
