Laura Jean Brown Mrs.

Laura Brown, age 75, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away December 28, 2014. She was born February 16, 1939 in the Panama Canal Zone to Janice Mildred Stuart and Hugh Robert Bedford. Laura was proud to be an Army brat and lived in Frankfort Germany, Lawton, OK, and Huntsville, AL. She married Horace Edward Brown in Huntsville, AL and had five wonderful children. They moved to Atlanta, GA where Laura worked 33 years at Equifax and 6 years for Gwinnett County DA’s office. Laura was a beloved mother who loved her family. She lived for her children and granddaughter. She was happiest when with family and friends sharing stories and laughter. Her survivors include her children: Janice M. Brown & husband, Barry; granddaughter, Lauren Nicole; April I. Golgart; Horace E. Brown, II; Norman O. Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; Bridget L. Brown; sisters, Norma C. Canon of Marietta, GA and Barbara R. Cothran of Rome, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 1001 Duluth Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
