Laurence Pacelli Healy (Larry), age 81, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Larry was born in Dublin, Ireland on March 23,1939. He immigrated to America in 1964.
Larry was preceded in death by his birth parents, James Healy and Breida Byrne; parents who raised him, James and Gretta Byrne O’Connor; spouse, Marcia Healy.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica M Healy; children, Laurence Healy and wife Delores, Kimberly Whitley and husband Robby, Michael Healy and wife Laura; Ten Stepchildren, Twenty-two Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
The life and love of Larry Healy cannot be confined to words alone. How can you describe a man that loved everyone like they were family? His passing is a great loss to all who knew him. He was kind, generous, warm, hospitable, and unapologetically both Irish and American. He was actively involved in the Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta as a member and current president. Larry was the life of the party who was always ready with a game of rings, a story, a hug, or a pint in his pub. He was an amazing friend and husband to Roni for the last 19 years. They built a home where all were welcome and loved. His laugh, jovial spirit, and love for all will never be forgotten and will forever be missed.
