Lieutenant Colonel Retired Marvin J. Weed

Lieutenant Colonel Retired Marvin J. Weed, age 81, of Stone Mountain, GA formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Betty Patricia Weed; son and daughter-in-law, Thad and Robin Weed of Loganville, GA; daughters, Sheryl Weed of Loganville, GA Patricia Panizo of Houston, TX, and Deborah Novakovich of Anchorage, AK; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Louis Weed of Becker, MN; sister, Lois Hoaglund of Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Weed was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 30 years. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed every day. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Dr. William Gordon officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA with full military honors.
