Lillian Gay Shapiro

On the evening of November 27th, 2023, Lillian Gay Shapiro passed peacefully into eternal rest. She was surrounded by family.

Gay is survived by her husband of 51 years, Earl A. Shapiro, their children, Spencer Vostreys (Brenda) of Monroe NC, and Lisa Casey of Covington, GA, her brothers Gary Maier and Bobby Maier. She had a large extended family and loving friends who will miss her dearly.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the World Wildlife Fund as she loved all creatures alive and extinct. Notices can be emailed to korissa@me.com
