Linda Joyce Clack, 83, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on February 11, 1943, in Augusta, Georgia.
Linda, affectionately known as “Nana” and “Booty,” attended Richmond Academy High School. She worked as the bookkeeper for her late husband’s construction company and was of the Baptist faith.
Linda was a woman of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and endless compassion and thoughtfulness. She loved life and knew how to have fun. Linda enjoyed lunch bunch, playing bingo and cards, and trips to the casino. She was always ready for an adventure, especially if it involved going somewhere good to eat. Some of her favorite places included Pilgreen’s on Lee St, Crossroads, The Colonade, and O’Steen’s in St. Augustine. If Linda enjoyed a restaurant, she was known to return again and again. She never left a restaurant without a to-go menu.
Fun, outgoing, strong, and loving, Linda never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She was loved by everyone who knew her and especially treasured the friendships she made in her community at Village Place. She had a gift for making her family feel at home and was always thoughtful about remembering and sending birthday cards.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles William Clack, Sr.; her father, Earnest P. Dudley; and her grandmother, Grace E. Dudley.
She is survived by her son, Charles William Clack, Jr. (Nancy); son, Richard Earnest Clack; grandsons, Brady Byrd and Will Clack; sisters, Penny Youngblood (Richard) and Patricia Keith (Bobby); brother, James Dudley (Sarah); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Linda will be remembered for her strength, her outgoing personality, her love of family and friends, and the joy she found in simply enjoying life.
