Linda Jane Stockton passed away peacefully in her home on January 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family, including her two children and four siblings. A Memorial Service will be held on February 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, 165 S. Clayton Street Lawrenceville, GA. Minister Inman Houston will be officiating. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held in her honor immediately following.

Linda was born in Montgomery, Alabama to her parents, Sarah D. and Lt. Col Frank J. Stockton. She lived in various places growing up as a result of her father’s Air Force position, including Alabama, New York, Florida, and Maryland.

Linda was a very kind, thoughtful, independent, and hard-working woman. She was a dedicated mother and loving MeMe to her grandchildren. She loved her family and was so proud of them. She enjoyed holidays, family time, movies & music, home decorating, and was also very passionate about nutrition and holistic health.

She is survived by her two beloved children: her son, Emlyn Murphy, and her daughter, Vanessa Herrmann. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren: Liam Murphy, Karissa Herrmann, and Kaysen Herrmann whom she cherished very much. Her siblings include: Vivian Brewer, Sandra Stockton, Joanne Lackey, and her twin brother Frank Stockton.
