Lois Elizabeth Gomez

Lois E. Gomez of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away at 9:55 PM on June 27, 2011 at Gwinnett Medical Center. My loving mother was 96 years of age and proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Gomez; brother, John E. Metterhouse; daughter-in law and my dear wife, Deborah P. Gomez. Now she is with family, friends and saints who have passed before her and are in Heaven with our Lord. She is survived by son, Robert Russell Gomez and wife, Rebecca of Tucson, Arizona; son, John Manuel Gomez of Lawrenceville, Georgia and her grandchildren, Jane G. Woods and John W. Gomez. Lois was born in New York City, New York. She was a graduate of Northfield Seminary, Northfield, Massachusetts. She resided for 45 years with her family in Carle Place, Long Island, New York before moving to Georgia to be closer to son, John and family. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice in Lois's memory will be appreciated.
