Lou Ann Covalt

Lou Ann Barnett Covalt, age 83, of Decatur, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred C. Covalt; daughters, Kathi DeVoe and husband Walter, and Kristina Aldred and husband Russell; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters. Mrs. Covalt was member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Decatur, GA, and was active in the Ladies Shrine in Tucker, GA. She worked all year for the annual Goodwill book sale. Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 24th at 2:00 P.M. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 465 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30030. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund, 400 Ponce De Leon Ave, N.E. Atlanta, GA 30308.
