Lucy Ann Sleight-Hines

Lucy Ann Sleight-Hines passed away peacefully August 24, 2024 at age 77 in Stone Mountain, GA. She is preceded by her husband of 28 years, Ronald Paul Hines, Glenn C and Marian E Sleight (Father & Mother), and Alexander M Sleight (bother). She survived by her sister Rosemarie Braman (Howard) and her daughter, Jonna Truan (Luke), and her two sons Scott Hines and Chirs Swanson (Tammy). Also survived by 5 grandchildren – Tyler, Dallas, Cody, Taylor, Mariah, & Erik and 1 great-grandchild – Amilia.

Born in Flint, Michigan. Lucy was a graduate of Western Michigan University in English & Art and a devoted member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, where she had the nickname Critter. She was a talented artist and creative in everything she did – canvas painting, sewing, crochet, landscaping, gardening, wallpaper, and design. A devoted wife & mother, Lucy was a brave and kind woman who loved helping people and animals with kindness and generosity. She lived life to the fullest her way and made friends everywhere she went.

This amazing woman will be missed by family & friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future time.
