Lucy (Nappa) Cardarelli

Lucy N. Cardarelli, 100, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29th, 2024. She was the daughter of the late, Alfonso (John) Nappa and Maria (Clara) Ingranate (DeYulio) Nappa. Born in Syracuse, NY, Lucy moved with her husband, Joe, to Georgia approximately 29 years ago. She worked on the artillery line at Remington Rand throughout WWII and as a telephone operator years later. Since their faith was an important part of their lives, Lucy shared her love for God as a Sunday School Teacher. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne C. Cardarelli; one sister Eda Hinman; 15 grandchildren: Melissa (Cardarelli) Walker and husband, Mike; Marcia Cardarelli; Jennifer (Cardarelli) Roder, and husband, Tim; Joseph E. Brown; Joshua E. Brown; Howard W. Brown and wife, Alicia; Bonnie (Cardarelli) Jones; Corey Cardarelli, and wife, Candy; Sandra Cardarelli and Aaron Cardarelli; 14 great-grandchildren: Ashley (Derek), Andrew, Jacob (Eden), Kianna (Nelson), Deven, David, Samantha, Celia, Sophie, Riley, Noah, Amaya, Nicholas and Alexander; 5 great-great-grandchilden: Joseph, Thomas, Gabriel, Talía, and Téo. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph P. Cardarelli; son, Joseph Michael Cardarelli; daughter-in-law, Denise J. Cardarelli; sisters, Florence Bonacci and Eda Nappa; brothers, Neil Nappa, Francis (Frank) Nappa, and John (Dick) Nappa.
