Lynne Ford Jackson

It is with great sadness and faithful hearts that we announce the passing of Lynne Ford Jackson, 74, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Born March 15, 1949, in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late John C. Ford and Mari Jo Ford, whom preceded her in death. Lynne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, James P. Jackson, Sr, siblings Jim Ford and Jane Mentzer (Bob), nephews John Ford, John Mentzer (Christie), and James Lee Ford, nieces Susan Nichols (Adam) and Emily Ford, her stepsons Paul Jackson (Lynn), and Todd Jackson, granddaughters Caroline Jackson, Camille Silva, Mary Catherine Fagetti, and several great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.

Of all her many accomplishments, the ones she cherished the most were her marriage to Jim (she was his “Cutie Sue”), her dogs, her family and friends, and her ability to bring people together. Her love, hospitality, refined taste, and southern charm will always be remembered.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Stone Mountain Cemetery on October 19, 2023. Visitation and service will be graveside beginning at 10:30 am with the Service at 11:00 am.
