Malcom L. Lee

Malcom Lynn Lee, age 61, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father John Earl Lee and his mother Ruth Lewis Lee of Macon, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Catherine (Cathy) Lee, daughter Melissa Lee Turnbull of Lawrenceville, GA, son Jared Lynn Lee and daughter-in-law Carisah Lee of Modesto, California, and five grandchildren Kaitlyn Turnbull, Jacob Turnbull, Stephen Turnbull, John Turnbull and Jovie Rose Lee. He is also survived by his sister, Laura Hughes of Loganville, GA and his brother Rick Lee of Brunswick, GA, his wife’s sister Rhonda Wood of Suwanee, GA, his wife’s brothers Jerry and Michael Walker of Cobbtown, GA and Joseph Walker of Baxley, GA, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was a 30-year resident of Lawrenceville, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and friend to so many. Throughout his lifetime he played guitar and sang with a gospel quartet as well as the North Metro Baptist Church choir. He loved to ride his motorcycle, play golf, fish in South Georgia, and hunt. He amazed us with his artwork – drawing wildlife and landscapes. For years he researched his ancestry and shared the information with family members. The family will gather for a viewing between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Wages & Sons Funeral home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA. Interment will be held at 2:30 pm following the service on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
