Margaret Elder Dodd Mrs.

Mrs. Margaret Elder Dodd of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 14 from complications related to a stroke. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Horace Dodd and sisters, Polly Thompson, Edith Hollingsworth and Sue Jones. Margaret is survived by her two brothers, Leon Elder, Jr. and John Elder, and her three children, David Dodd, Karla Dodd and Jed Dodd. Margaret also leaves behind nine beautiful grandchildren, Garrett Dodd, Hope Dodd, Colin Dodd, Channing Jones, Caroline Jones, Benton Dodd, Reilly Dodd, Candler Dodd and Lydia Dodd. Margaret was an active member at Dunwoody United Methodist Church and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22 at 11:00 am at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to The Salvation Army.
