Marian Jennette Paul

Marian Jennette Paul, 90, a long time LaMoille resident passed away May 8, in her Stone Mountain, Georgia home following a 5-year battle with cancer. Marian was born on October 11, 1925, in rural Marshall County to Harry and Grace Gile. She attended country school, graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1942, and MCC in 1979. On April 26, 1945, she married John Paul. They had six children together. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Gile; sisters Margaret Meling, Veda Paul, Edna Bailey, Rosalie Bailey and Gladys Petrie.Left to cherish her memory are all six children living in Georgia, Mike (Janet) Paul, Pat Lanphier, Steve (Glenda) Paul, Doug Paul, Cindy (David) Reynolds and Jeff Paul; nine-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister Alice Meckley, Prairie City; brother Webb Gile, Marshalltown, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
