Marie Angela Stack

Ms. Marie Angela Stack, age 91 of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on July 8th with her family by her side. She died peacefully with dignity and courage having battled dementia for several years prior. Ms. Stack was born in Sarasota, FL in 1934 and grew up in Miami, FL. She was a dedicated wife, mom and homemaker. She had many passions and talents some of which included a beautiful singing voice, the gift for painting oil landscapes quickly from photographs; an intrigue for celebrity/political gossip, and a huge heart for animals. She frequently spent money she didn’t have on animal causes and non-profits. Marie didn’t graduate from college but was well versed in news and current events, could recite almost every country’s president name, and had a strong handle on her geography. Marie was raised Catholic and although she wasn’t actively religious, she dedicated prayers to the Virgin Mary often.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James N. Stack and is survived by her son, Ken Stack and his wife, Cheryl Stack, and daughter, Karen Stack and her wife, Juliette Mansour.
