Marilyn Davis, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on July 19, 2023, at the age of 77, after a valiant battle with a long illness. Born on September 28, 1945, in Nantucket, MA, Marilyn was the beloved daughter of Antone and Agnes Sylvia.

In 1978, she found the love of her life, Leon Davis, and they were united in holy matrimony. Their bond was inseparable, but in 2017, Marilyn faced heartbreak when Leon passed away. Despite her loss, she held on to their cherished memories, carrying his love in her heart.

Marilyn was a dedicated administrative assistant, working for a security company for many years. Her professionalism and attention to detail made her an invaluable asset to her workplace, but it was her warm-heartedness and compassion that truly set her apart. She touched the lives of her colleagues and clients with her unwavering optimism, generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guidance in times of difficulty. Marilyn’s unwavering faith also fueled her bravery and determination. She faced life’s challenges with courage, never giving up and always putting the needs of others before her own.

Her family will forever remember her as a pillar of strength, love, and care. Marilyn’s daughter, Kelly Webb, Son-in-Law, Joe Webb, and granddaughter, Sylvia Webb, were her pride and joy, and she adored them deeply. She cherished every moment spent with them, passing down her values of love and kindness.

Marilyn also leaves behind her dear sister, Elaine Prather, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and laughter. Their bond was unbreakable, and they were a source of strength for one another.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Marilyn Davis on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 30046. The family will receive friends starting one hour earlier.
