Martha Hemphill

Martha "Pete" Hemphill, age 92, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Woodrow Hemphill in 1993. Martha is survived by her daughter, Linda Kircher & husband, Charles; son, David Hemphill & wife, Becky; son Michael Hemphill & wife, Ginger; grandchildren: Christopher Kircher, Julie Kircher, Jenny Codron, David Hemphill, Jr., Michael Hemphill, Katie Hemphill; great grandchildren: Alex Codron, Taylor Codron, Evan Hemphill, Logan Hemphill; and several nieces & nephews. Born in Brevard, NC, she has lived in Lawrenceville for the last 25 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. Martha loved life and people and will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 pm, on Sunday.
