Martha Jo Lillard Deems

Martha Jo Lillard Deems, 87, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 of complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She is survived by daughter, Deby Witt, and granddaughter, Lisa Jo Trower, both of Lawrenceville, Georgia; nieces, Sandra S. Nachman of Augusta, Georgia, Patricia Roberts of Bethany, Oklahoma, and Anita Hill of Roswell, Georgia, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Jo was predeceased in life by her parents, James Edward and Austin Augusta Witt Lillard; brothers, Carroll M. Lillard and James A. Lillard; sisters, Dorothy Elizabeth Kobeck, Frances Betty Shelton, and Norma Louise Thompson. Funeral services will be held at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2 PM.The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6 PM - 8 PM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Graveside services and burial will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, Tennessee at 1 PM.
