Martina Gifford Lyons

Martina G. Lyons, age 73 of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away Monday, October 16th 2017. Martina was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny B. Lyons. She is survived by her children: Johnny B. Lyons Jr. of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Joe and wife, Carrie Lyons, of Tega Cay, South Carolina; Jeff and wife, Jean Lyons, of Brunswick, Georgia; Daughter Jennifer and wife, Shonda Lyons-Golden, of East Point, Georgia. Grandchildren: Courtney, Beau, Kira (husband Bart), Jordan, Matt, Justin, Skyler, Melissa and Courtney. Great-grandchildren: J.B., Kinley, Barrett and Liam. Great-granddogs: Linda, Pippa, Tala, and Sheila. She is also survived by her longtime companion Foster Elwood. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21st 2017 at 2:30pm at Wages and Sons, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 on Saturday before the service. A celebration of life will be held after the burial service at "The Venue at Friendship Springs," 7340 Friendship Springs Boulevard, Flowery Branch, Georgia from 5:30-8:00pm.
