Mary M. Daugherty

Mary Marlene Joyce Daugherty “Marti”, 79, from Baltimore, MD moved to Stone Mountain, GA in 1971. She passed away peacefully on 4/22/18 after her battle with leukemia. She was preceded in Death by her husband, Vernon F. Daugherty and parents Clinton B. and Loretta V. Joyce. She is survived by daughters Elena Daugherty, Laurie Daugherty Erwin (Chris), Debbie Bartels (Paul), and son Jackie Daugherty, grandchildren Lauren Christie Califf (Matt), Nick Christie, Christopher Erwin, Courtney Erwin Hinson (Ben), Danielle Bartels, Butch Bartels and 4 great-grandchildren, her sister Lori Wedra (Bob) and multiple nieces and nephews. She loved wholeheartedly and was truly loved in return by many. She retired from DeKalb Medical Center after 3 decades, she was a lover of animals, especially her cat Midnight, her family, trains, watching UGA, Braves and tennis. Longtime member and supporter of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Funeral arrangements handled by Wages and Sons, Stone Mountain, GA.
