Mary Krehely

Mary Krehely, 93, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at her daughter's home in Lawrenceville, GA. She was born in Luzernr, PA September 6, 1916 and she was the last surviving sibling of George & Anna Kurtz Sitar's eight children. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook her "blue ribbon" quality lemon meringue pie that she shared on special occations and on "special request." She had a passion for bingo and will be missed by family & friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Krehely, daughter Maryanne Jim Porter, Camp Springs; MD, Grandsons Walter Joseph, John Porter; son-in-law Thomas L. Stoddard; brother-in-law John Mary Krehely, Swoyersville; PA. She is survived by daughter & grandson Jo Ann & Christopher Stoddard, granddaughters Eileen Paul Carlson, Silver Springs MD; Kathryn Porter, Camp Springs, MD great-grandchildren Else & Sierra Carlson; sister-in-law Lorraine Sitar, MI, nieces Alberta Tomcavage, DollyYonick Stephen Luzerne, PA; Barbara Dambraukas Fitzgerald Glenn, DC; Hallie Sitar, VA; Jo Ann Sitar Palfi, NY; Betty Krehely DiMaria Tom, Swoyersville, PA; Maryanne Krehely Dietz Charles, Dallas, PA; Virgina Krehely Bizby Warren, Wyoming, PA; Nephews Robert Krehely, Stephanie, PA; Joseph Sitar, NJ; Steven Dambrauskas, NJ; Joseph Sonny Sitar, George Sitar & Walter Tootsie Sitar. Internment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the ALS Chapter, 1955 Cliff Valley Way Ste. 116, Atlanta, GA 30329 in memory of Thomas Stoddard and Joseph Krehely.
